Fellowship Groups at CABC
Why Fellowship Groups?
The Bible defines fellowship as a shared life enjoyed among believers based on their common devotion to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This enjoyment of the shared life is seen in large and small groups, formal and informal settings. These Fellowship Groups allow for a focus on the smaller, less formal setting in which closer and deeper relationships may form.
What are Fellowship Groups?
These are groups of three to six families/individuals who meet together each month for study, prayer, discussion, and refreshment.
When do these groups meet?
CABC schedules one Sunday evening each month for these groups to meet in lieu of the evening service. If the groups can meet one other time each month, that is great!
Where do these groups meet?
Families/Individuals who make up the group will determine where to meet each month.
What materials will be used for the discussion time?
CABC staff provides discussion outlines.
Who will lead the group time?
Facilitators will be identified for the group meeting. The group can decide whether the same person leads each time or leadership can be shared by group members.
What about our kids?
Each group and group member will decide how to include or care for the children which belong to them.
